In existence since February of 1997, the ELCA Outreach Center is an outreach of eight Evangelical Lutheran Congregations of America (ELCA) Churches in Kenosha and is endorsed by the Greater Milwaukee Synod. Many other churches in Kenosha County also support the Center.
Our mission: The ELCA Outreach Center shares God’s Love as a faith-based organization offering a safe place that provides services to meet our community members’ needs.
The ELCA Outreach Center offers a wide range of services that help families and individuals meet everyday basic needs and move toward self-sufficiency. The Outreach Center provides:
- Clothing and personal care items
- Prescription assistance
- Access to computers, phone, fax and internet
- Resume building and job search assistance
- Basic computer training
- Youth programming
- Annual Christmas gift giveaway
